Columbia, SC — The economic development team at Parker Poe Consulting recently assisted Sunbelt Rentals Inc. to finalize plans to expand its corporate headquarters in Fort Mill, SC. Sunbelt has more than 550 locations and is one of the largest equipment rental companies in North America.
The company moved from Charlotte, NC, into its 62,000-square-foot headquarters on Deerfield Drive in the Gold Hill area of Fort Mill in 2006 and will now physically expand to further Sunbelt’s ability to serve a growing network of rental facilities across the United States and Canada.
Sunbelt carries an inventory of more than $5 billion in general construction equipment, industrial tools, scaffolding, remediation and restoration equipment, HVAC, pumps and power generation equipment.
“Our customers run the gamut of industries, from commercial to industrial to municipal and other specialized service providers, and this expansion will allow us to better serve them wherever they are.
